Although the gentleman working was very kind and came out to the waiting area to help us know if we all had the correct documents in order to be helped, he was the only person working at the office. There were people who had been waiting for 3 hours in order to be seen. If anyone reads these, please hire more people to work at this location. Also, it would be helpful to be able to get everything done at once (license, plate, etc...) without having to drive to another location. I have done this in many states and this dmv is, by far, the worst I have ever experienced. Everyone in the waiting area was stressed. I will now have to take extra time off work to get this accomplished instead of having it done today, my day off.
Waiting area full, nobody at front desk, sign says they break for an hour and a half at lunch and another sign says no driving test today. The DMV offices in Durham and Raleigh are much more efficient and professional. Really... This is why dmv offices have a bad reputation.
Too many people in nc that don't use turn signals or don't drive properly stop giving stupid people licenses
Got there 9:40 & got a number. Left to go eat at a restaurant. Went & got gas and returned at 11:40. We were the next 2 called. PLAN AHEAD! 2 CLERKS & 38,000 DARE RESIDENTS. They are doing all they can & need help. Very nice lady.
I'm here at 3:45, and it's closed. They're supposed to he open til 5. If you try to call it's a busy signal. I've tried to get through since this morning. ????
