Mike McGee is an experienced plumber, but also an honest one. He has always treated me fairly and he does great work. He is truly the Gentleman Plumber.
Josh and crew did great work. Came out on short notice. Did several projects for us during a remodel. I highly recommend Mike's company and his team. Will use again during our downstairs remodel!

Good and Bad. These guys are prompt, courteous, seem to do good work and clean up after themselves - all good. Then comes the bill. Labor costs (currently $125/hr in late 2017) are a bit pricey, but perhaps not too out of line with prevailing rates at the beach, where everything seems to cost more. Watch the parts charges though - typically 2-3X or more what the retail cost is (and keep in mind that they undoubtedly obtain these items at a contractor's discount). When I challenged this the owner claimed that parts bought at big box stores are invariably refurbished (a ridiculous claim) and then immediately offered to reduce the charges by 50% - which should give you some idea of the sizable markup they're trying to get away with. (Here's the owner's response verbatim: "Our products we sell are the newest version from the factory with a 5 year warranty. Lowe’s and Home Depot sell refurbished plumbing products from the manufacturers and they are dated 2-3 years old. This is why there products are cheaper with very little warranty and none on labor. Our mark up is 40 % on material. We can give you a discount on material and send you a new bill with 50% off material. Thank you Mike McGee owner the gentleman plumber"). Bottom line: I'd hire these guys again but buy my own parts.
Great, knowledgeable service. Mike installed gas line for conversion of kitchen range from electric to gas and connected grill to LP gas. Worked late on Friday night to finish the job. Had a very nice young man named Josh working with him. Mike was very accessible for questions and very quick to get to my project. Highly recommend him!
