I go to Tanger Outlets each year when I come to Nags Head, but I only frequent a few stores. It’s very small compared to Myrtle Beach and Rehobeth Beach. I wish it had more options for shopping. Also there is only one place to get a snack/drink, or anything to eat. There is plenty of space down here to expand so I’d like to see another strip go in. Perhaps Old Navy and Vanity Fair, Christmas Tree Hill and The Disney Store as well.
A strip mall, with stores to satisfy everyone on your list. Huge parking lot, with easy handicap access for every store. Nice new gazebo in the center for taking that shopping break, with a lovely view of the water.
It was great to get the discount coupons. Then we went into the stores and found less than half accepted the coupons. Ok, then when I tried to use the 20% coupon I was told it was not good on what I wanted to purchase. I was looking for reduced prices at “the outlet”, but did not find any real bargains. The salesperson at the Bass store was really nice. Very friendly and helpful
While I ejoyed the awesome deals and friendly people in the Gap outlet, I was left with a negative feeling from the service that I received in the Tanger customer care center. I went in to pick up a reward and the woman working there was rude. She acted irritated that I had interrupted her and when I tried to ask further questions about ongoing activities and promotions, I was brushed off and hurried out. I'm a resident of the Outer Banks would like to spend my money locally, but based on this behavior, I'm not likely to return.
The Coach and Nine West stores are gone now. There wasn’t a lot there to begin with. They need to replace with some strong stores.
