This is a great store that has almost anything you could need or want for outdoor activities while in the Kitty Hawk area. We purchased some kites and t-shirts, and also arranged to go kayaking. The store has a lot of stock, the staff are friendly, and you can waste a good amount of time just looking through all they have to offer. We have been here before, and will definitely be back.
Go here! Nice touristy place! You can rent all your beach stuff here too. Paddle boards, kayaks, all sorts of stuff.
Another great Thanksgiving tradition is photos with Santa at the hang glider. Thankful he was here on a Friday (10-2) before we leave tomorrow. He'll also be here Saturday from 1-4 before their kites with lights. Definitely a good stop to make if you're in the area.
Another must stop OBX destination! More than just kites! Every location is a little different so stop in more than one!
I love this place. especially the toy section. Great to take kids on a rainy day to keep them entertained for a while. If its sunny, buy an inexpensive kite and take it across the street to Jockeys Ridge. Prices aren't inflated for tourists, you won't be getting a discount, but you won't be getting the tourist ripoff either.
