I like the products offered here. However, I'm constantly finding expired cheese, cookies, crackers, jams, etc. Most of which are well over a month past their expiration date. That's pretty gross.

My husband and I love this store! They have delicious fresh foods, many gluten free options, very friendly staff, and a lot of unique products. We got most of our food here, while staying in Kill Devil Hills. I highly recommend it for anyone making their own meals while on vacation.
Love this place! Produce and meats are the best around. This is the only place we buy steaks from. We drive an hour ( one way) just to stock up.
I am from the Outer Banks, and just want to share not one experience, but constant bad service I keep receiving at this store. If you want any type of meet or seafood you best where your Sundays best. If you look average, or below average like myself, you will never get service here. Last year I swore I would never would go back to this store, however, living less than 1/2 mile from the store it is hard to say never. But this time I swear I will not step foot near this store..... It just hurts that when you go to a place that cost twice as much as Food Lion next door, you should at least get waited on. But at this store you are not going to get waited on, unless you go in wearing a gold watch, Bermuda shorts, dockside boat shoes, and a Tommy Bahamas shirt... oh yeah, don't forgot to go get a spray on sun tan ..... but if you look like me or anyone that was raised here, board shorts, and a t shirt, with flip flops, they will look at you, then quickly look away ;and ask the next person "can I help you".... and literally that next person just walked up after I have been standing there for over 10 minutes........ this however, is all my fault. this is not the first, second, third, forth, or even fifth time it has happened. Last time I told my wife, and swore I never go back inside, but what a sucker I am. Went back into the store; and OH MY GOD, same thing happened. I stood there for over 10 minutes, not even first in line, a poor elder man was first; and then a man walked in with a spray on suntan, big gold watch, fancy shoes, Bermuda shorts (strait out of yachting magazine), and a tommy Bahamas shirt; and walked right in front of the line. The butcher had seen both myself, and the older gentleman standing there, literally for over 10 minutes; look right at us, then turned strait to the spray on suntan man, and said "may i help you"...... oh hell no... I mean hell no times a hundred...... So i proceeded to Tell the butcher, and the rude spray tanned Yankee that jumped in front of all of us how I felt. Then spoke with the manager, who looked very confused..... and that is the problem, consistent behavior from employees, equal "culture" that upper management demands, and promotes.... give good service only to humans that look important and rich.......
The selection of fresh produce and gluten free products offered here is very nice. Just make sure to check the dates first.
Well this place is the Mecca of grocery stores. They have a bakery, candy area, a countless variety of fresh offerings, and GREAT alcohol varieties.
