Awesome place to visit, I would highly recommend this place for vacations and getaways. Cape Hatteras is my favorite vacation spot and it is by far the nicest, cleanest, and most fun place to go for the whole family, pets included! Also it's very affordable you don't need alot of money to come here.
One of the best places on Earth. Beautiful sandy beaches, wild horses, other wildlife (especially during tourist season!). Fishing is okay, depending on when and where you go. If you can, charter a guide and you'll have a great time. Otherwise, some eclectic little shops dot the islands, and everyone is exceedingly friendly.
Hopefully we'll get to visit again someday. We've always enjoyed our times here and the surrounding Outer Banks areas.
This is a really pretty and peaceful area. Every place is dog friendly. Make sure you buy tickets to go to the top of the lighthouse to see the great views.
Wonderful place to do water sports. Clean and safe. Love it even when it takes me 3 hour to go and same to come back!!
Our family was lucky enough to vacation here two years in a row. It's not too crowded, beautiful and there is a lot to do in the surrounding areas.
