We also had a bunch of family with us and it was almost impossible to order. We walked over and it looked like all the ordering machines were broken except for the one that was already in use. We had to use the ones for cars and it took them a long time to even take our orders.
Great service and quick results. Maybe 6 minutes right at noon for 9 hot dogs. Family was excited and enjoyed lunch. Don't let the exterior fool you. The food is solid quality.
We stopped here on our way home from Hatteras Island. While I understand this location is busy during peak season I had the worst experience. We sat in the drive thru line for close to 20 minutes only to be asked to park and wait for the food. We waited another 15 minutes for our food to be brought out. At that point the tater tots were completely smashed and they were missing an entire order of chicken nuggets. I walked up to the door and politely informed them of the issues. I stood half in/half out of the sonic door for another 15 minutes before getting what I had ordered. By the time I got my food I was fuming and had just wasted almost an hour waiting! Try to avoid this location all together.
Worst experience in a "fast food restaurant". We waited for 15 minutes just to be told the drive in kiosk we were in does not work and we were asked to go to the next one and then another one and then asked to change sides because none of the drive in kiosks at this place works. Finally we got to a kiosk which worked and the person taking the order said he couldn't hear us and asked us to move to another drive in kiosk. We ended up leaving with out getting food and after wasting close to 20-25 minutes here.
Overall a pretty negative experience on the last night of our vacation here
My boyfriend and I decided to try the Master Blasts for the first time. We are from PA and regularly enjoy sonic at home but wanted something new. I got the caramel brownie master blast and he got the triple chocolate one. In both of our shakes, the brownies were stale. They were downright gross and ruined the shake. Should have just gotten a caramel shake- at least that would have been half price as we went after 8.
Drove all the way from Charlotte to visit the Wright brothers memorial. Decided to stop at the only place open, which was this sonic. The only person working was a lady manager. Decaying teeth. She was very rude, took over 25minutes to receive our order, upon receiving our food, the tots were cold like they never even been fried. Plus, I'm not going to bring race into this, but she treated the white folks better than us. (Asian)
