I took a 2 hour sailing lesson today with John and had the most wonderful experience. In my opinion, it was a great way for someone with no experience to learn the basics of sailing a small boat. As he promised, after one lesson I'm able to take the boat out, sail it, and bring it back. I'll be excited to get more experience and further improve my skills in the future, but I now have a solid foundation to work from. I'd recommend this 2 hour class.
Had a great experience renting a stand up paddle board and a kayak. Everyone was so nice and helpful. They were especially great with my 5 year old, whose first time it was kayaking.
Might be a good place if you’ve never ridden a ski before, and you want to get a feel of how they ride.
The riding area is REALLY small, especially when you have 3 people in your group, plus the chaperone, and 4 other people that weren’t in my group. Wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re trying to have some fun on a ski, you can’t really go anywhere and you always have to look up to make sure you’re 75 yards away from everyone else.
The paddle boarding was good and the people assisting you down by the water were too. But upon requesting 5 paddle board the man at the booth looked at my (fit) family and asked us if we were athletic, because it was a little windy that day (it wasn't). I asked the guy what it looked like. He's lucky we stayed to paddle board
We had a great time learning how to sail and really appreciated the fact that they allowed others in our party to just enjoy the ride at no additional charge. Our instructor, Will, did a great job in teaching us the ropes. My only ask is they offer a wind status report on their website to save us the phone call to check.
