This was our first year renting through this company. And it, most assuredly, will be our last.

Worst customer service I've experienced in over 25 years of going to the OBX.

We had a wonderful time and loved this house! It was clean, spread out and the private pool was a wonderful bonus! The location was good, just across the street from the beach and close to shopping and activities. It was nice that most of the bedrooms were on their own floor as we were 17 people and had a lot of kids. We were able to spread out when necessary and there was room to come together to eat, play games, watch TV and just hang out. The outside spaces were great as there were many decks! The only thing we found to be somewhat annoying was that there were no beach chairs or beach toys available to use. We found most houses did offer these, and since this house did not, we all had to go out and buy them. We felt the house should have included these as many of our guests flew from other states and could not bring their own. There was an outdoor storage bin - nothing was in it! Other than that it was great. We would definitely rent again!

About half our group arrived on Sunday morning. Our code we were given did not work to unlock the front doors. Luckily someone didn't lock all of the doors so we were able to get in through the back door. Once inside we found dirty clothes in one of the rooms, a toilet that didn't drain properly, and dirty floors and sheets. We were able to fix the toilet and the house cleaners were fairly prompt in arriving and cleaning, considering the short notice.

Overall we had a positive experience with Resort Realty. We did have an issue where we paid extra for the pool heat and the the realty company neglected to tell the pool company, so it was never turned on. Luckily, the pool was warm enough for our vacation. The realty company did refund the fee that we prepaid. We've been vacationing in the OBX for 20+ years and have used pretty much every company available over that time. Resort is on par with most of the others. The home we stayed in was beautiful and pretty well priced. Would not hesitate going with this company again. In fact, we are staying in the same home next year.

I was very nervous on the drive down after reading so many negative reviews. However, our house was perfect! We stayed in Avon, Carolina Breeze, the house was exactly as advertised, clean and just great. Our on small issue was some of the baby equipment that was in the house description was not there. I called the office and Brittany had a crib, baby gate and high chair delivered that day. She even followed up the next day to make sure everything was good. I will use them again next year, and was so pleasantly surprised with the awesome customer service. Brittany is the best!

Needless to say our next rental will be through another company.

My two friends and I loved this condo. We are three retired ladies who have traveled to the beach together for many years. We all agree this was the best place we have ever stayed, and we have reserved it again for next year. It was beautifully furnished and was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The balcony is quite large with plenty of room to sit and have meals. The view of the ocean is amazing and can be enjoyed from the balcony or from the living room couch. It is a very short, easy walk to the beach. There are a number of wonderful restaurants just a few minutes away, as well as an outlet mall and grocery stores.

After all of these issues, which we reported to management, all we got was a "sorry". We asked about a partial refund, the realty company said the only person who could issue a refund was the owner, who was unwilling to do so. This is where I almost lost it because the realty company made money on our rental for the week and could have offered us something. They basically said "We don't care about your problems."

As the rest of our group trickled in we found more clothes (at least these may have been clean as they were in the dressers) in at least two more rooms. We contacted management again and they promptly sent a "plumber" to "winterize" the house. I don't know what he actually did because he was in the house before we even knew he'd arrived and he basically ran through the house, so I don't know how much winterizing he actually did. I also think it was quite unprofessional to have this happen while were in the house. He was in the house less than an hour so there's no way he couldn't have done it before we arrived or after we left.
