Historical residence that extends much hospitality. Our room is gorgeously appointed. The management pays attention to comfort details.
Clean, enjoyed stay very helpful staff. Very professional but very inviting atmosphere.We loved it. Stayed there many times. Every stay the same.
There is a lovely boardwalk to the beach, which is world class. It's about 200 steps to the water from the patio deck.
We are enjoying the ocean air from the comfort of posh wicker chairs, on our wrap around porch. The First Colony Inn is a must stay.
We had a great time at First Colony Inn. The location is great and the staff is friendly. I wasnt to thrilled on their breakfast though. If you are thinking this is a B and B it is not, they do a continental breakfast that quite honestly could use some work. The pool is a nice addition if you need a break from the beach for a day and they offer chairs for you to take to the beach. They had several bikes for use but out of the 10 bikes that were there I think only 3 were in working condition. The rooms were super nice. Our bathroom was a bit cramped but for the two of us it was perfect. We would come back again and would recommend.
Very nice Historic place. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a romantic time away. Nice beach access and clean and beautiful gronds. Near many sights and Jennetes pier.
This year is our second stay. Last year we spent our wedding night at First Colony Inn. It is a quaint place with wonderful service. Rooms are old fashioned and cozy with plenty of space. Free wine and appetizers in the afternoons. Just a walk across the small road takes you to the beach along their private walkway. We took that walk last year and were married on the beach. This inn will always hold a special place in our hearts.
