We stayed in the Bird of Paradise room (two rooms really), and our friend stayed in the Bodi Lighthouse room. We were supremely comfortable in our place, and I am certain our friend was as well. Everything was charmingly decorated, which is what draws us to B&B's, and our hosts were very interesting and accommodating people. We loved our evening swims in the plant-filled pool area, along with its gentle music and lighting, and big bright moon each evening, followed by hot tub soaks. Absolute heaven. When we came back to reality in DC, our friend reminded us at 10 pm the next day that "It's time for our swim." Alas, that delight was left behind at the RelaxInn. And now we have to make our own breakfasts too, which will never be as creative as theirs. We plan to go back when next we get the chance.
Amazing hosts and location...right near the pier and Sam & Omie's! They were so welcoming and accommodating.
Love this bed and breakfast. The location is ideal for the "beach bum" as it's literally across the street from the house; within walking distance. The house itself is cozy. Homeowners are quite accommodating as they provide a wonderful breakfast every morning and afternoon hors d'oeuvre if you so happen to be relaxing at the house after a day of soaking up the sun. So far, have stayed at this location three times and plan to do so on future OBX trips.
Great place to stay very clean and the owners are very hospitable. Breakfast foods were very good and fresh. Couldn't ask for more with private pool and a hot tub for the cool evenings. Alot of great restaurants near by and beach just across the street. Would definitely recommend if you like the bed and breakfast scene.
Room Tip: The suite allowed us to spread out a little in our quarters.
We had a great stay! The breakfasts were great and Eric and Margie were incredibly nice and informative about the area. We'd recommend this to any of our friends.
