Don't get the shrimp; my local Red Lobster does it better, and I live in Ohio! However, for scallops and crabcakes, they're amazing! The staff is great, and the restaurant is clean. We choose it for the ambiance, and it was so-so. We were expecting a romantic dinner, and couldn't hear each other without yelling across the table. Decent food, but we won't be back. Oh, and they advertise live music...but it was nowhere to be found!
Good food, accurate and attentive service with a very nice sunset views! We went for dinner and then lunch two days later. Both visits were very pleasant! Upstairs bar doesn't face the water and table along windows in the bar are for guests ordering food only. There is no AC up there, as it's open air. So, be prepared if you are looking for a bar with a view, you will need to turn around to face it.
First time visiting the Outer Banks so we picked this placed based on the good reviews we read and it did not disappoint! We started off with the soup special, She Crab soup. It was FULL of crab and creamy, so delicious (my mouth is watering again just thinking about it). Hush-puppies came complentary to the table with a butter, which was a little sweet, but tasted delicious with the hush-puppies. For our main entrees we had the NY strip which was cooked at a perfect medium And the Trawl Boat was the perfect combinations of my favorite seafood (crabcake, shrimp, and scallops). We were so full that we didn't have room for dessert, so I guess that will be next time. And the view from our table was spectacular, as we got to see the sunset.
Came down for a friend's wedding and she recommended this place. It was a great suggestion! Food was delicious and service was wonderful - very friendly staff. They also had an area out back on the water for pictures and such while you wait or after you finished your meal. Great place and will be back when we're in area once more!
We absolutely loved this restaurant and cannot wait to go back! We did not expect to go here, as we were eating late. We pulled into their parking lot and enter the restaurant, hopeful. We were told the wait would be about 15 minutes, so we took a launder out the back, on to their dock. We saw the sunset and took some lovely photos of our family. We then got the call to go into the restaurant, and we sat down. The service was very good, as was the food. The interior is very well organized, and the atmosphere was friendly. There were families, and couples, and senior citizens. We would definitely go back to Miller's, as the sunset is just beautiful!
