Great Craft Beer Selection! Bartender was great & he really knew his beers! Not sure what you want then try the sampler out. They have so many beers on tap I had to try the sampler a few times. Nice steamed seafood selection as well. New favorite Tap House! Will be back again & again. Thx for the great beer, serivce & hospitality.
The food here is pretty great. I was in town for Thanksgiving and I stayed in a house literally across the street so I was able to come in to this place pretty easily.
Bad form for someone in the service business. Paid my bill but completely skipped the tip, something I never do.
The only issue I had was very small and not even a real problem, but the clams did come out about five minutes after the crab and shrimp but I was enjoying my food so much it wasn't a big deal. I just don't know if that's what usually happens or if someone forgot to cook them.
So, go get the food but grab a table.
Our bills (4 of us) were messed up, my buddy's credit card was given to me, I actually received 3 bills, the first $53, then $49, then $26 the correct one. The bar maid finished me off by saying, 'If you don't want to pay it, just tear it up!'
I her defense, this girl was swamped making these '6 glass' draft beer sampler racks each of which seemed to take 5 minutes to prepare and deliver but at the end when we went to pay, things went south.
I don't even remember what the market price was that I paid, but it wasn't a wallet buster. Crab, Shrimp, and Clams are high on my list of entrées any day of the week.
Just ate here. Our waitress could not have seemed more disinterested in serving us. No greeting or smile. Never checked back once after we received our meal. My husband asked for another beverage & never received one during the entire duration of our meal. Food was fine. Being a resort town, was expecting better service.
Would have been a 5 star, the food was SO good but we sat at the bar and our bar girl was snarky and had an edge. I said, 'Can I order some food?' and she said, 'I don't know, can you?'. Guess I was not in the mood for a 3rd grade grammar lesson.
You gotta Love a place that makes you feel appreciated. The staff at Red drum never fails in that respect & the food is on point. All in all a great place to bring friends & family or to make new aquaintences. Highly recommended...
