THE WORST PLACE EVER. DO NOT COME HERE. They had a 1/2 off oysters sign RIGHT outside but they did not grant this. When we confronted them, they kept saying that we do not understand the sign just because we are Asian. This is not about the price but the fact that in this day in age we are facing discrimination IS RIDICULOUS. We even asked for a simple apology and we did not get one. Sorry excuse for people who do not treat others with respect. If you have any decency do not come here, there are so many BETTER places in this part of town.
Great family environment! My entire family and extended family and we're all here in the OBX and called to see if they had room for 30… Sure enough they did. We were the only ones in there that evening so we are Skeptical if the food was good. The service was good food was amazing and we have found our new favorite place! We love this place!
Cool outdoor spot with great view on a nice night except... bartender completely ignored us when there were only 3 others at the bar - clearly his close friends - 10 minutes after bellying up, he acknowledged us and took our order while checking the messages on his cell phone. The Chardonnay was flavorless, the $12 margarita was overpriced. The steamed shrimp was reasonable but the crab balls were mostly filler. May have been a better meal if the guy behind us wasn't blowing cigarette smoke at us. Hard to ignore his smoke.
Delicious
September 11, 2017 - In the OBX for a family vacation and this was our first night to eat out. It ended up being a not so pleasant experience. My daughter and her husband ordered the pimento cheese appetizer which had been heated to the point that grease was floating on top of the cheese. I ordered the crab cake dinner which came out as a sandwich...instead of being the last to eat due to reordering...I just took the bread off and ate it. The crab cake and the crab ball appetizer my husband and I shared was very good. My other daughter did get the crab cake dinner but they were still cold in the center. The waiter took them back to the kitchen and returned with them now hot. No one at our table was offered a second cocktail...I would think this is how you make your money. Finally, we were forced to refill our own non-alcoholic beverage as this was never done. So, in my opinion the food we received was for the large part very good but the service and getting the food was more akin to a circus act.
I got fried shrimp and it was so good. The shrimp was perfectly cooked. The fries were crispy and some of the best fries I've ever gotten (weird, you would think that all fries were the same but they are not). The hush puppies were amazing, crispy on the outside, and just the right amount of sweetness. I meant to take a picture but the food was gone so fast, because it was really that good!
They can do better.
